The game is a series of 6 quests, starting with easy quests designed for players of all ages and progressing to more difficult challenges.

(ages 10 and above) The Galapagos Islands provided some of the major evidence that led Charles Darwin to his conclusions about evolution and are home to unique flora and fauna that continue to broaden our knowledge about island ecology. The area is under great stress today due to human habitation. This afternoon, Professor Fred Diehl discusses the importance of the Galapagos Islands and the waters surrounding them, and the importance of ongoing conservation efforts.

The Smithsonian's 21st Century Consort has been performing riveting music of our time for more than three decades. Led by artistic director Christopher Kendall, the consort includes some of Washington's finest musicians. The theme of today's program reflects two scary events -- Halloween and the presidential election. The consort performs music fit for a D.C. season of high anxiety by Eric Moe, Jon Deak, Mark Kuss, and H.K.Gruber. Reception follows concert.

Museum astronomer Sean O'Brien and local amateur astronomers bring out their high-power telescopes and share their knowledge of the night sky. Get away from the glare of city lights and see stars you never knew existed. Witness the thousands of stars that litter the dark night sky, and with the help of high-power optics, view nearby planets and stars up close. Note: Please bring a red filter or brown paper bag to cover your flashlight. In case of clouds or rain, an amateur astronomer will lead a short alternate program.
